The UK vaping Industry Association plans to hold a B2B conference in September.

The UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA) will hold a B2B conference at the QEII Center in London on September 9 to discuss how to rectify the chaos of E-Cigarette practitioners, prevent minors from using e-cigarettes, and create a sustainable e-cigarette industry and other important issues .

The conference, "E-Cigarettes for a Better Future," will also explore how the vaping industry can maximize its public health, economic and social impact.

At that time, the Centre for Economics & Business Research will release the first economic impact report on the e-cigarette industry.

Confirmed speakers and panelists include Vaping All Party Parliamentary Group Vice Chairman Adam Afriyie MP, Convenience Store Association CEO James Lowman, Ipsos Murray Head of Climate Change and Sustainability Practice Pippa Bailey, VapeClub Director General Manager Dan Marchant, VPZ Director Doug Mutter and SMOK Global Marketing Manager Yu Siyang.

Earlier, the Khan Review, an independent review of tobacco control policies commissioned by the UK government, recommended e-cigarettes as the main tool for making England smoke-free by 2030.

"This year`s vaping industry forum will be the largest to date," UKVIA director-general John Dunne said in a statement. "The conference and exhibition comes at a very exciting time for the vaping industry following the extremely positive Khan Review, which affirmed the key role of e-cigarettes in phasing out traditional cigarettes. And, it also comes on the heels of the much-anticipated new tobacco control program previously published."

"While vaping presents a huge public health, economic and social opportunity for the country, the industry must face many challenges. Khan Review believes that the vaping industry plays a key role in the harm reduction strategy for cigarettes and we must show that we are A highly responsible industry that can live up to the government`s high expectations."
